Over the last few months I’ve taken moments here and there to look over the “kid’s story” from “The Waiting Words.”
Over time, I edited it, storyboarded it, and then slapped some stock Canva images on to it. And…
Voila!
A book.
a.k.a., a peace offering while I finish Chapter 5 of Polly Olly Oxen Free 😬
Next time I will either just draw the dang thing by hand or find some sort of ethical way to have a robot do it—because good Lordy did that take forever! Fun though. And my kids loved it. So, who knows. Maybe Pounce will have a comeback sometime in the future.
I have one final parting message before I head off to comb through more plot holes in Polly Olly’s first half of the first act; from the wise words of Pounces themselves:
“Okee, Bye! Love yoooouuu!”
